Current winter Externships for MCM class of 2016 include:
David Krucik is working on a seal capture project in Cape Cod with the Mystic Aquarium. Christopher Mantell is gaining a background in informatics, curation, biolocation and coding at HealthMap in Boston. Adel Molnar is conducting a population survey of the rare marbled salamander in the Blue Hills of Massachusetts with the Grassroots Wildlife Conservation. Kathryn Rasp is monitoring black bears and learning to use radio telemetry with the Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game. Sarah Whitman is evaluating data sets on flounder body condition and North Atlantic right whale fecundity with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts. Lastly, Annalisa Sharkey is in Malaysia working with Wetlands International on mangrove restoration.
